Pilot Terms

Pilot Terms

These Pilot Terms apply to drone professionals who register, create a pilot profile, offer drone services or accept project opportunities through SGDRONE.

Pilot Registration

Pilots must submit accurate registration information and professional credentials. The current registration process requests information including a CAAS Drone Pilot Licence Number, licence upload, licence expiry date, services offered, portfolio, phone number, years of experience and professional profile information.

Accuracy of Information

Pilots are responsible for keeping their profile information accurate and current, including qualifications, licences, permits, service categories, experience, pricing and portfolio information.

Any expired, suspended or invalid licence or qualification should be updated promptly.

Professional Qualifications

Pilots must hold the licences, qualifications, permissions and other approvals required for any service they agree to perform.

A pilot must not accept a project that exceeds their qualification, experience, equipment capability or lawful operating permissions.

Pilot Profile

Approved pilots may have a professional profile displayed on SGDRONE so customers can review their experience, skills, permits and service expertise before selecting a pilot.

Pilots grant SGDRONE permission to display information and portfolio materials submitted specifically for their platform profile. Pilots must ensure they have permission to upload and display any photographs, videos or project materials.

Project Acceptance

Before accepting a project, the pilot should review the service requirements, location, schedule, operating conditions and any permissions necessary to safely complete the work.

The pilot is responsible for communicating promptly if a project cannot be completed as requested.

Safety & Compliance

Pilots must perform services safely, professionally and in accordance with relevant operational requirements.

Pilots should not operate where required permissions, site access, safety conditions or appropriate equipment are unavailable.

Communication With Customers

Pilots should use the communication and booking processes provided or approved by SGDRONE when handling projects received through the platform.

They must communicate professionally and must not misuse customer contact details or confidential project information.

Pricing & Additional Charges

Pilots are responsible for providing accurate service pricing and clearly identifying relevant charges before a booking is confirmed.

Any additional cost arising from transportation, special equipment, permits, extended operating time or project changes should be disclosed before it is charged.

Changes to Pilot Terms

These Pilot Terms may be updated as platform services, booking processes and pilot requirements evolve. Continued use of the platform after updated terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, subject to applicable requirements.
